  1. Hypertension is defined as systolic blood pressure ≥140 mmHg, and/or diastolic blood pressure ≥90 mmHg, and/or antihypertensive medication use. Multivariable ORs: adjusted further for age and BMI, smoking status, alcohol consumption, HbA1C, LDL, AST, γ-GTP, UA and GFR. HDL tertiles are <51 mg/dL for T1, 51–61 mg/dL for T2, and >61 mg/dL for T3
